Can a 30-Minute Workout Really Be Effective?
At Burn30, our strength training sessions are 30 minutes with a personal trainer, followed by 30 minutes of cardio on one of the pieces of equipment.
And you might think... can 30 minutes really be effective? And the answer is – yes, it can be! At Burn30 we make sure you make your time as efficient and effective as possible. Here are the ways we make sure your 30 minutes count for you:
We create workouts customized for you to take out the guesswork. When you come in for your workout, your trainer has planned it all so that you don’t have to waste time deciding what to do or how much or how long. We have a plan so that all you need to do is show up. We will always keep in mind your fitness goals as well as any injuries, health considerations, etc.
We keep your workouts fresh. About once a month, we switch up your workouts with new and innovative moves to keep your muscles guessing. Confusing the muscles helps to prevent overuse while avoiding plateau. We also like to use a variety of equipment – from cables to medicine balls to bodyweight movements to keep you and your muscles guessing.
We challenge you. We like to make sure you’re always moving forward towards your goals, which means we will be challenging you in a way that’s appropriate for you and will not lead to overuse and burnout. This can be done a ton of different ways, depending on your goals. So that could be challenging you through repetitions and weight selection or through coordination and balance or cardio endurance.
